Three landscapes in one mark

Himalayan Challenge Treks takes travellers climbing, trekking and rafting in Nepal. The logo holds all three: blue peaks for the mountains, green hills for the trails, and yellow water for the rivers that run down from them.

A map for every trek

A trekker wants to see the whole walk, and how high it climbs, before booking. We drew the route maps in one style: the trail in green, each stop with its height, the passes, rivers and peaks around it, and the flight in from Kathmandu. The Everest region map is one of more than forty.

Colours and type from the mark

The mark’s four colours, blue, green, yellow and slate grey, run through the website and the maps, each with a lighter and a darker shade, so every page and every map looks like the same company. Adobe Garamond Pro sets the headings and Montserrat the rest.

Price, dates and the route, on one page

We wireframed the website before designing it. Each trip page opens with what a trekker compares first: the price, the days and the grade. Then come the departures to choose from, and a day-by-day itinerary beside the route map. The same pages work on a phone.
