Two businesses, one owner

Ghanshyam Sharma runs two travel companies from Kathmandu. Trekkers Paradise takes trekkers and climbers into the Himalaya. Tiger Encounter runs wildlife safaris, in Bardia and Chitwan national parks and beyond.

We designed and built the first company’s website from 2020. In 2024 we took over the second, which another developer had built. We have looked after both since.

A trekking site built section by section

From August 2020 we designed and built Trekkers Paradise a WordPress theme of our own. We made it one section at a time: the opening slider, trip cards, destinations, reviews, the blog and the trip page. It went live in 2021 and still runs.

Each trip page holds what a trekker needs to decide: the day-by-day itinerary, a map, photographs, reviews and a downloadable trip sheet. WhatsApp and Viber sit beside the booking panel, which stays in view as the guest reads.

Departures, booking and enquiries

Guests choose a fixed departure from the trip page and book with payment. A trip with no price shows Trip Enquiry in place of Book Now, so nobody is asked to pay for a trip without one.

Best-time pages say when to go on each trek. A site search covers every trip, guide and page.

A safari site, redesigned page by page

In 2026 the owner asked for Tiger Encounter to show its full range of safaris. We redesigned it page by page from March to June:

  • Packages grouped by destination, then by animal: tiger, red panda, snow leopard and more
  • A new package type, so birding and rhino trips find their place
  • Every package reachable from the home page and the menu
  • A calmer orange, consistent buttons, breadcrumbs, and team cards on the About page
  • A booking form on each package page, and data search engines read for price, rating and questions

Care that keeps both running

Both sites get the same care. We keep WordPress and its plugins up to date, and moved both to a current PHP version in 2026. When an old trip plugin stopped working, we replaced it. When spam reached the safari site’s contact form, we stopped it.

Before any risky change we back up the database, as we did before removing a second search plugin the owner had added.

Who did the work

Our founder leads the account. One of our developers built the Trekkers Paradise theme, our engineering lead added booking and search and reviews every change, and our web developers redesigned Tiger Encounter. Each change is checked on the live site before the owner hears it is done.
