A position already in the name

We have built and run Nepal Alternative Treks’ website since 2023. In October 2026 we gave the brand one direction to carry everywhere. Before setting it, we read twelve operators a traveller finds for the main trek searches. Eleven say “off the beaten path” somewhere, and none leads with it. So the brand leads with the quieter route beside the famous one.

A logo revamped, not replaced

Before we took over the website in 2023, the logo set the name in a narrow face, half white, on an orange header. We kept the mountain and redrew the name in 2023. In 2026 we set its second line as Treks & Expedition.

Before and after: above, the old logo on orange, the mountain beside Nepal Alternative Treks and Expeditions in a narrow face with some words in white, below, the revamped logo on white, the same mountain beside the name in a wide face with Treks & Expedition spaced below

One sheet for the whole brand

Ochre leads, honey marks what to press, and forest green is the second ground. Headings are set in Ohno Blazeface, text in Merriweather, and Nepali in Rozha One and Noto Serif Devanagari. Each pair of colours that carries text was measured for contrast.

The brand sheet: the logo on five grounds, six colours with their codes and uses, the heading and text typefaces in English and Nepali, ten icons and the button in two states

What guides and guests wear

A guest wears the T-shirt at home, and a guide is photographed in the jacket on a pass. So each piece carries the name once, large enough to read at a distance. We drew a T-shirt, a down jacket, a cap and a duffle bag to scale, with the size and place of every mark.

  • The symbol on the chest, the full logo across the back of the jacket
  • The back logo 250 mm wide, where its second line still stitches cleanly
  • No slogan on goods, because a shirt outlasts a campaign line

Caps in ochre and forest green with the symbol on the front, and duffle bags in near-black and ochre with the full logo on the side

A certificate for the walk

We designed a certificate a guest takes home, with their name, the trek, the highest point, the days on the trail and the dates. It names the guide with a licence number, which no competitor team page we checked shows.

The trek certificate on an ochre border: the logo, a number, the guest's name, the trek, four facts with icons for highest point, days, dates and guide, lines for the guide and founder to sign, and the large symbol rising from the corner

Posts built from the trips

Social templates turn the company’s own trips into posts. A route pair sets the famous trek beside the quieter one, a trip post leads with height and days, and festival cards run in English and Nepali. We made covers for every profile, a logo animation for reels and a Canva brand kit the team edits.

Three posts: Same range, a different ridge, setting Annapurna Base Camp beside Mardi Himal; a Manaslu Circuit photograph with 5,106 m and 12 days; and a Dashain card in English and Nepali on ochre
